WHY
PLASTIC? IS THERE ANY ROLE OF PLASTIC MATERIAL
The term – Plastic has
been derived from Greek word Plastikos which means to reshape or
to mould. Because this specialty involves mainly remoulding of various
tissues and skin in the process of reconstruction, hence the name –
Plastic Surgery.
It is for the same reason
that plastic material was initially termed as plastic because it could
be molded to any shape.

IS
PLASTIC SURGERY VERY EXPENSIVE?
No, plastic surgery is
not very costly. The expenses involved for any procedure depends upon
the institution, the infrastructure required, material used, nature of
the procedure, anesthesia and the operating surgeon. As compared to most
other superspecialities, a routine plastic surgery procedure requires
minimal instrumentation and infrastructure but high degree of innovative
surgical skill.
IS
PLASTICSURGERY PAINFUL?
All plastic surgery
operations are absolutely painless as they are done under effective
local or general anesthesia. Most of the patients can go back home the
same evening or in a couple of days.
At CHAOLON PLASTIC
SURGERY CENTER, the total expenditure of any procedure is definitely
less as compared to most other place in the private sector. This is due
to the fact that emphasis is given to day surgery with most patients
going back to their homes after 6 to 8 hours of surgery. Thus
unnecessary hospitalization is avoided that helps to avoid problems like
hospital acquired infections and also reduces the overall expenditure.
